System & Functional Safety Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze, comment, and discuss requirement specifications from customers and internal stakeholders (incl. safety goals / safety requirements)
• Development technical solutions (safety mechanism) to fulfil the safety goals from the customer together with the project team
• Define and describe the system requirements, especially soft- and hardware relevant requirements (incl. Technical Safety Requirements)
• Discuss and review the Technical Safety Requirements with the soft- and hardware domains
• Moderate and lead the review of functional safety related work products (SFMEA, FTA, etc.)
• Support all relevant departments and domains like testing, SW- & HW-Development, Program Management, etc

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor / master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics or similar
• Several years of experience in the automotive industries
• Detailed Knowledge in Automotive SPICE
• Detailed Knowledge of Requirements Management Tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS, etc.)
• Detailed Knowledge in Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
• Knowledge in hard- and software development for automotive electronic devices
• Knowledge in automotive software architecture and AUTOSAR
• Confident manner in dealing with suppliers, internal and external customers
• Business fluency in English is required
• Team-oriented working style and good organizational skills
