This will give you an idea of what it means to do the job well and your prospective boss’s managerial style.
5. How would you describe the company culture?
This is a really important question to ask at the end of an interview to ensure your vision and values align with the company you are applying for.
6. What is your favourite thing about working here?
This demonstrates you care about your interviewer’s own experience and allows you to create a personal rapport which could come in handy when it comes to decision-making.
7. What are the company’s values?
This is a good chance to demonstrate that you are invested in the company and care about how its values align with your own.
8. What qualities do successful employees tend to have?
Asking this can demonstrate that you’re enthusiastic and determined to succeed.
9. Can you tell me about the team I’ll be working with?
Getting an idea of the other people in your prospective team is a good idea, especially if you are interviewing remotely and won’t get a chance to meet them in person. If you are interviewing face to face why not ask to be introduced?
10. What are the department’s plans for hiring and growth?
This question demonstrates your drive and helps you learn more about where the company’s focus will be over the first few months of employment.
