Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, professional and effective emergency medical care at large-scale events, festivals and public gatherings.

• Carry out thorough patient assessments, identify clinical needs and implement appropriate treatment protocols within your scope of practice.

• Deliver safe, compassionate and patient-centred pre-hospital care in line with established clinical guidelines.

• Maintain accurate, comprehensive and confidential Patient Care Records (PCRs).

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary medical team, including fellow paramedics, EMTs and other healthcare professionals.

• Monitor patients, assess changes in their condition and facilitate appropriate escalation or transfer to further medical care when required.

• Ensure all medical equipment, vehicles and supplies are checked, maintained and ready for deployment.

• Adhere to all relevant clinical governance, health and safety procedures and professional standards.

Essential Requirements

• Current PHECC registration as a Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

• Previous experience working in a pre-hospital care or emergency medical environment.

• Full, clean driving licence.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event-based shifts, depending on operational requirements.

• Excellent communication, teamwork and patient assessment skills.

• Ability to remain calm, professional and decisive in high-pressure situations.

• A strong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence and professional conduct.
