Basic Grade Occupational Therapist

In conjunction with a Public Organisation, PE Global are looking for a Basic Occupational Therapist to join them on a permeant basis. The services our client provided include rehabilitation for adults and those with respiratory disabilities, along with neurological disabilities.

This position is open to a full time and part time permeant basis. Situated on the outskirts of Dublin this post is accessible to both the Northside, Southside and Kildare.

The successful candidate will be a public servant and have all benefits and renumeration.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients’ strengths, limitations, and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and goals.
• Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to improve patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Stay informed of current developments and best practices in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current CORU Registration
